My first job was working for my family’s home health agency in League City,
Texas. My family started the business in the garage in 1978 and by September of
1990 we had 6 locations across Harris & Galveston counties. I started in the file
room and worked my way up from utilization review to patient scheduling and,
finally, operations before my family successfully sold our sizable business.
Prior to starting my M&A advisor career, I strategically lead sales planning
initiatives for organizations such as GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Bristol-Myers
Squibb, and Astra Zeneca. I’ve built marketing plans and launched blockbuster
medications that made significant differences in many patients’ lives. In my 18
plus years of experience in pharmaceutical leadership, I’ve won numerous
national awards.
In previous roles, I spent a great deal of time analyzing data to maximize strategic
growth. In my role at Founder, I am taking that same data-driven, research-based
approach to assist entrepreneurs orchestrate exceptional exits.
I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in mergers and acquisitions after my first
week as an M&A business development executive. I've always been interested in
how entrepreneurs started and grew their businesses. Over the years I've
appreciated hearing Founders share their stories. Whether it's the $53 million
revenue company built by two brothers in their basement on a shoestring budget
financed with their credit cards, or the single Mom who built a national logistics
business while her kids were in elementary school…that perseverance and fight to
succeed is apparent and memorable.
